October 22, 2010 – Grand Opening of Harborwalk Scoops and Bites & Fun Life
Harborwalk Scoops and Bites and its new neighbor Fun Life are celebrating a grand opening on Friday, October 22 from 5 pm to 8 pm. Scoops and Bites features Blue Bell ice cream, snacks and drinks. Fun Life carries Poly-Wood outdoor furniture, decor for inside and outside the home and lots of fun merchandise to that will add a little fun to anyone’s life. Owners Claudia and Ron Thomas are excited about these two new additions to Punta Gorda. “After opening The Tropical Store in downtown Punta Gorda three years ago we decided it was time to add to our family of businesses,” Ron Thomas said. “We love what the City of Punta Gorda and Marina Park, LLC have done to make Laishley Park a premier destination in southwest Florida and we want to be part of that great energy.” Grand opening visitors will receive a “buy one get one free” ice cream cone or cup Friday, October 22 through Sunday, October 25.
